I don't know what are your preferences for summer office clothes, but during summer I definitely like to wear easy clothes that do not make me sweat in the Florida heat and make me feel pretty comfortable and not stiff.
I like a lot knits, so a simple T-shirt or Polo Shirt works wonders with a pair of dress pants, or an easy skirt - as long as it is not denim and at least touches your knees. I prefer straight pencil skirts for giving that sexy look, and I prefer them tapered a little, so they do not have that "square" look.
I love, love summer dresses! The same story in here- it cannot be too short. If the dress has some short sleeves, or at least covers the shoulders than it is fine, if not- than just throw on the top an easy thin blazer or a cardigan.
